New Multi-Sport Court Open

The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department announces the completion of a new Multi-Sport Court at Regional Park. The new courts are open for public use, operating on a first-come, first-serve basis.

This new multi-sport court is a versatile space designed to accommodate various activities, promoting inclusivity and engagement within the community. Alongside the court, new basketball poles have been installed, final striping on the courts will be completed as weather permits.

The official park season begins the first Saturday in May and ends the last Sunday in October.

Park hours are from 9:00 AM until sunset.

Walk-in access is permitted year-round.

Ball Field Rentals

For ball field rentals, please contact the Washington County Parks Department at 240-313-2700.

Fields are rented by the hour or can be booked for weekend tournament use.

Liberal Leave is in effective for Washington County Government

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
