Washington County Parks Officially Open for the Season on Saturday, May 4, 2024

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 2, 2024) – The Washington County Department of Parks & Recreation announces all county-owned parks will officially open on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Parks are open daily from 9:00 a.m. until sunset.

County-owned parks include:

If visiting a county-owned park, please remember to follow park rules and regulations, clean up after pets, and keep pets on a leash at all times. To make a pavilion reservation call 240-313-2700.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
