Washington County Wineries Receive Accolades at Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Competition 2019

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 1, 2019) –Washington County Department of Business Development is excited to share that several Washington County wineries were selected as winners at the 2019 Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Competition. Sponsored by the Maryland Wineries Association, the Maryland Comptroller’s Cup Competition recognizes high quality wines entered into nearly three dozen style categories. This competition was hosted in Towson, Maryland on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

Wineries from throughout Maryland submit wines for review by a panel of judges. Listed below are the prizes awarded to several Washington County wineries.

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.
