Parks and Recreation Reveal New Logo

HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 10, 2020) – The Washington County Division of Public Works introduces the newly formed Washington County Parks and Recreation Department. Jamie Dick will assume the role of Deputy Director of Public Works, Parks and Recreation.
Andrew Eshleman, director of Public Works, said, “The Division of Public Works is proud to announce the formation of a County Parks and Recreation Department. In celebration, Washington County is pleased to reveal a new logo that embodies the common goal of promoting park amenities and recreational activity in the County. Jaime Dick, previously the Recreation Director, with 22 years of Parks and Recreation experience in the County will manage the Department.”
In regards to his new position, Dick said, “I am truly honored to be part of such a great team that is serving the citizens of Washington County. I look forward to working alongside a committed parks and recreation staff, county leadership, and other county departments and the many public, private and non-profit groups that utilize our facilities, parks and programs.”
