HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 17, 2020) – The Washington County Department of Water Quality announces the precautionary boil water advisory that impacted the residents of Sandy Hook is hereby rescinded following the successful permanent repairs made. The satisfactory completion of the bacteriological survey confirms that the water is safe for use and consumption for the entire Sandy Hook Water System.
