Change of Address
In Maryland, the State Department of Assessments & Taxation is the official central file of all addresses relative to State, County, and Municipal taxes. If you wish to change your address you must notify the Maryland State Department of Assessments & Taxation. You can receive a change of address form and instructions by calling 301-791-3050 or by visiting the the Maryland State Department of Assessments & Taxation website at http://www.dat.state.md.us/. You may also submit your change of address request in writing as follows:

Please note, that failure to change the mailing address does not relieve the taxpayer of their obligation to pay the property tax bill.
