Your Input is Needed! Washington County Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Survey

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 20, 2023) – The Washington County Office of Emergency Management encourages citizens to participate in Washington County’s hazard mitigation planning process by completing the Washington County Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Survey.

The planning process includes all of Washington County. The public survey is designed to help the county gauge public perceptions of hazard vulnerability and potential projects to lessen the impacts of future hazard occurrences.

The Public Survey was first announced at the Hazard Mitigation Planning Committee Public Meeting on January 19, 2023. The meeting was held to review updates to the County’s hazard mitigation plan.
