Washington County Government Launches 3rd Annual Washington County, MD Ice Cream Trail

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 6, 2023) – Washington County Government launches the 3rd annual Washington County, MD Ice Cream Trail! Embark on a delightful journey to all 11 locally-owned ice cream shops and collect stamps on your Ice Cream Trail map. Once you have completed the trail, please submit your stamped map through our convenient online form available here or by mailing it to: 100 W. Washington Street, Suite 2600, Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Every individual who submits a completed map will be entered into an exciting raffle. Multiple winners will be selected to receive fabulous prizes sponsored by local businesses and the participating ice cream shops. The deadline to enter the raffle is the last day of summer, September 23, 2023. Winners will be announced in October 2023 and will be notified via email and phone.

Participating in the Ice Cream Trail not only brings joy to your taste buds, but it also supports local businesses and dairy farms in our community. By championing small businesses and agriculture, you contribute to the growth and prosperity of Washington County. We sincerely appreciate your patronage and encourage you to express gratitude to our hardworking farmers!

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.
