TRAFFIC ALERT: Multiple Road Closures for Railroad Crossing Work

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 26, 2019) – Washington County Governmentannounces CSX will be closing several roads across the county during summer months to complete work at various railroad crossings. The list of road closures and openings for this week is found below. The closure dates listed below are an approximation. CSX has confirmed that Mcafee Hill Road will remain open while work is ongoing at the Warren Avenue and Highfield Road crossings so that at least one of the three roads will remain open throughout the week.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.
