TRAFFIC ALERT: Micro Trenching Work on Longmeadow Road and Marsh Pike

HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 5, 2024) – Due to micro trenching work, the Washington County Division of Engineering announces upcoming road work that will affect traffic on Longmeadow Road and Marsh Pike from Monday, December 9, 2024, to Friday, January 10, 2025. The work will be conducted between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Locations:

  • Longmeadow Road: Northbound lane and shoulder
  • Marsh Pike: Westbound lane and shoulder

Crews will be working in the travel lanes and shoulders during the specified times. Drivers should expect temporary lane closures, minor delays, and construction personnel directing traffic as necessary. A map of the impacted areas is attached for reference.

Motorists are urged to use caution, obey all traffic control measures, and plan for potential delays. Washington County appreciates your patience as we work to improve the roadways.
