TRAFFIC ALERT: Lane Closure on Halfway Boulevard

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 18, 2024) – The Washington County Division of Engineering announces upcoming roadway improvements on Halfway Boulevard Westbound Lane will begin on Monday, September 23, 2024, as part of the County’s FY24 Pavement Maintenance Program.

The improvements will involve milling, hot mix asphalt overlay and line striping from the railroad bridge east of Massey Boulevard to Hopewell Road intersection. The work is scheduled to be performed September 23 to October 11 between the hours of 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, weather permitting.

Please be advised lane closures will be in effect for the length of the project with delays expected.
