SAVE THE DATE! 2024 Remembrance in the Park

HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 1, 2024) – The Washington County Office of Emergency Management will hold the annual “Remembrance In The Park” memorial ceremony in the Washington County Emergency Services Tribute Gardens at Hagerstown City Park.

The memorial ceremony will serve as a powerful reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience displayed by our service members, law enforcement officers, and emergency responders. It will also pay tribute to the citizens who selflessly contribute their time and effort to ensure the safety and preparedness of our community. We will honor our fallen heroes who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty to keep our community safe and protect the citizens of Washington County, Maryland.

Save the date for this momentous ceremony, as your presence and support will serve as a powerful source of inspiration for our dedicated community members. Together, we can uplift and empower those who tirelessly work to safeguard our freedoms and ensure the well-being of our community. Your participation is invaluable and will make a meaningful difference.

Attendees should plan to bring chairs. Handicap parking will be available but limited.
