Black Rock Golf Course Wins Best Golf Course in Tristate Area

HAGERSTOWN, MD (October 16, 2023) – Washington County Government is proud to announce Black Rock Golf Course was named as the Best Golf Course in the Best of the Tristate Awards presented by Herald Mail Media. Black Rock Golf Course is a county-owned 18-hole course that features sculptured fairways, excellent greens, an outstanding practice facility and spectacular scenery.

Hearld Mail Media presents Best of the Tristate 2023 by asking the people to vote for the best local businesses, places and organizations around the Tristate (West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania). The awards are arranged in six categories:

Black Rock Golf Course was selected as 1st place in Best Golf Course under the Sports and Fitness category. Fountain Head Country Club and Greencastle Golf Club were both finalists.
