“This SARE Farmer Grant program is designed for farmers to explore new concepts in sustainable agriculture through new ideas and techniques. This is a competitive grant that targets well-designed objectives with the most community impact ” said Leslie Hart, Washington County Agricultural Business Specialist.
The Farmer Grant also requires a technical advisor to assist with feasibility and design. To see a listing of other past approved SARE grants, visit projects.sare.org.
