TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Dogstreet Road

The Washington County Division of Engineering announces Dogstreet Road at Dog Creek (19758 Dogstreet Road) will be closed to through traffic, effective Monday, September 18, 2023, at 8:00 am, in order to begin the work on the replacement of the culvert. Completion of the project is scheduled for May 2024.

The posted detour route during the construction project will utilize Shepherdstown Pike (34) as well as King Road and Nicodemus Mill Road. See the map below for further details.
