Washington County Residents: Where to Find Food Assistance

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (October 30, 2025) – Washington County Government wants to ensure that no resident goes hungry by providing information on local resources available to them and their families. Multiple local food banks, pantries, and community organizations are ready to provide immediate assistance to families, seniors, and individuals in need.

Below is a list of local food banks and meal sites currently serving Washington County residents.

Guidance for Residents

  • All food banks are open to Washington County residents in need. Please bring identification and proof of address when possible.
  • Hours and eligibility requirements may vary by location; call ahead to confirm.
  • Meal programs offering hot meals and grocery assistance are also available through select churches and community centers.
  • Additional resources such as personal care products, clothing, and household items are available through several local agencies listed in the resource directory.
  • Please reach out to individual organizations if you wish to volunteer your time or donate goods.

Washington County remains dedicated to ensuring residents have the most current information on locally available resources. Local food banks, churches, and community organizations work together daily to ensure that every individual and family has access to nutritious food and essential supplies.
