Washington County Office of Emergency Management Monitoring Nationwide Microsoft Outage

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 19, 2024) – The Washington County Office of Emergency Management is currently monitoring a nationwide Microsoft outage. At this time, there are no effects impacting Washington County. We will provide updates if the situation changes and impacts our county operations. We want to assure the public that 911 and emergency services are still operational and are not being affected by the outage.

Additionally, we have an important update for passengers traveling on FLT NUMBER 2905 with service to Myrtle Beach, SC. Due to third-party system outages, the airline’s current ability to process passengers has been affected. If you are flying out on other flights from HGR, please check the status of your flight directly with Allegiant Air, as they will have the most up-to-date information.

We appreciate the community’s patience and understanding as we continue to monitor the situation and work with our partners to ensure the safety and convenience of all residents and travelers.

For additional information, please contact Washington County’s Public Relations and Marketing Department at 240-313-2380 or [email protected].
