HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 1, 2021) – The Washington County Solid Waste Department announces the Transfer Stations will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 2021, due to inclement weather. The Transfer Stations will open at 9:30 a.m. Services at the 40 West Landfill will operate on regularly scheduled hours, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

The County encourages those who must travel to exercise caution while on roadways. If driving is essential, clear your vehicle completely, drive slowly, use caution, and don’t crowd or pass plows.
