Washington County Invites Vendors for Annual Groundhog Day Celebration

HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 2, 2025) – The Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development is pleased to announce that vendor applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Groundhog Day Celebration, taking place on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center, located at 7313 Sharpsburg Pike, Boonsboro, MD from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
This annual winter event welcomes more than 350 attendees and celebrates Washington County’s agricultural community through local food, family-friendly activities, and opportunities to shop directly from area producers. The celebration features live music, children’s activities, product sampling, and a warm indoor venue that draws consistent foot traffic.
The Department is seeking local farms and value-added agricultural producers interested in showcasing their products, connecting with new customers, and increasing brand visibility.
