Washington County Government Closed for Veterans Day

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (November 5, 2025) – In observance of Veterans Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. County services will operate as listed below:

HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Hagerstown Regional Airportadministrative offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and re-open on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Airport terminal will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled on November 11, 2025:

No departure or arrival flights

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. All services will resume on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

TRANSIT

Washington County Transit Serviceswill will operate on a normal schedule on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE

Black Rock Golf Course will operate as normal on Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

TREASURER’S OFFICE

Washington County Treasurer’s Officewill be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and re-open on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

STATE’S ATTORNEY

The State’s Attorney’s Office will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, and re-open on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

PUBLIC SAFETY

All essential public safety services will remain in effect.
