Washington County Government Closed for Thanksgiving

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (November 21, 2025) – In observance of Thanksgiving, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025. County services will operate as listed below:

HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Hagerstown Regional Airportadministrative offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025, and re-open on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025:

  • No departure or arrival flights

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025 and Friday, November 28, 2025. All services will resume on Saturday, November 29, 2025.

TRANSIT

Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Transit will return to normal operations on Friday, November 28, 2025.

BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE
Black Rock Golf Course will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025. Black Rock Golf Course will return to normal operations on Friday, November 28, 2025.

TREASURER’S OFFICE
Washington County Treasurer’s Officewill be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025, and re-open on Monday, December 1, 2025.

STATE’S ATTORNEY
The State’s Attorney’s Office will be closed on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and Friday, November 28, 2025, and re-open on Monday, December 1, 2025.

PUBLIC SAFETY

All essential public safety services will remain in effect.
