HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 22, 2024) – In observance of Thanksgiving, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024. County services will operate as listed below:
- The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024, and re-open on Monday, December 2, 2024.
- Allegiant Air services will continue as scheduled:
- There are no scheduled flights on Thursday, November 28, 2024, or Friday, November 29, 2024.
- All services at Forty West Landfill and all other transfer stations will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024, and Friday, November 29, 2024. Services will resume on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
- Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Thursday, November 28, 2024. Transit will return to normal operations on Friday, November 29, 2024.
- Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
