Washington County Government Closed for Independence Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 2, 2024) – In observance of Independence Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024. County services will operate as listed below:

  • The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices, and the maintenance department, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024, and reopen on Friday, July 5, 2024.
  • Airport Terminal Operating Hours:
    • Thursday, July 4, 2024: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm
  • Allegiant Air services will continue as scheduled on July 4, 2024:
    • 3:50 pm arrival and 9:08 pm departure for flights to Tampa/St. Petersburg Airport (PIE)
    • 8:18 pm arrival and 4:40 pm departure for flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)
  • Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2024. All services will resume on Friday, July 5, 2024.
  • Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
