HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 1, 2023) – The Washington County Division of Permits and Inspections invites the residents of Washington County to attend an Outreach Meeting on Thursday, June 15, 2023, starting at 10:00 a.m. at the Public Safety Training Center, located at 18350 Public Safety Place, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.

Committed to safeguarding the health, safety, and general welfare of our community members, the Division of Permits and Inspections aims to empower citizens with the knowledge necessary to navigate the permit acquisition process successfully. Whether you’re a homeowner, business owner, or contractor, this event has been tailored to demystify the process and provide valuable insights.

During the meeting, our knowledgeable staff will deliver a comprehensive overview of the permit application process. Furthermore, an interactive Q&A session will be conducted, where citizens and staff will have the opportunity to break out into groups and address specific questions. Topics of discussion will include setting up an online user account, applying for permits, scheduling inspections, code-related inquiries, and much more.
