WILLIAMSPORT, MD (February 27. 2026) – The Washington County Highway Department announces the upcoming closure of Kemps Mill Road, between Pinesburg Road and Walnut Point Road, from Monday, March 2, 2026, through Friday, March 6, 2026. The road will be closed daily from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is necessary to continue roadway improvements, including excavation and repair of damaged sections of the roadway. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour and use caution when traveling in the area.
