TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Howell Road Extended

HAGERSTOWN, MD (September 20, 2023) – On behalf of W.D. Wright Contracting Inc., the Washington County Highway Department announces the road closure on Howell Road will be extended until Friday, September 29, 2023. The road will be temporarily reopened during the weekend, Saturday & Sunday, September 23 & 24, 2023.

During the closure period, road closed, and detour signs will be prominently placed to guide motorists towards alternative routes. These alternate routes have been strategically established to ensure minimal disruption for commuters.

Alternative routes will be readily available for motorists to use while the closure is in effect. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary road closure may cause and sincerely appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work towards making necessary improvements.
