TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closure on Bottom Road

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 22, 2023) – The Washington County Highway Department announces an upcoming road closure on Bottom Road, extending from Route 68 at the tannery to the railroad tracks at the quarry.

To facilitate necessary maintenance and improvement work, Bottom Road will be temporarily closed from Monday, June 26, 2023, to Thursday, June 29, 2023, weather permitting. During this period, the road closure will be in effect daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we strive to enhance the safety and quality of our road infrastructure. Alternative routes will be available for motorists, and appropriate signage will be placed to guide traffic accordingly.
