CLEAR SPRING, MD (December 22, 2025) – The Washington County Highway Department, in coordination with the Division of Engineering, announces an upcoming road closure of Broadfording Road on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The closure will occur between Gossard Mill Road and Broadfording Church Road.
This temporary closure is required to allow for a state-mandated bridge inspection, which is part of routine safety and compliance efforts to ensure the integrity and reliability of the County’s transportation infrastructure.
