HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 22, 2019) – As of 4:00 p.m., the Washington County Highway Department announces the following roads have reopened after being temporarily closed due to high water:
- Lehmans Mill Road
- Battletown Road
- Leiters Mill Road
- Intersection at Clopper Road and Old Forge Road
- Sandy Hook Road between Keep Tryst Rd. and Hoffmaster Rd.
The following road remains closed:
- Cresspond Road
Stay up-to-date on Washington County road closures by visiting our road closure map.
The County encourages all citizens to remain off the roads listed above. Citizens are also advised to refrain from driving through standing water.
