Storm Sewer Inlet Cleaning on Robinwood Drive

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 26, 2020) – As part of the Clean County Initiative, the Washington County Division of Environmental Management and the Highway Department will be removing debris from the stormwater management inlets along Robinwood Drive from the intersection of Medical Campus Road to the entrance of Hagerstown Community College. The debris removal is scheduled for Thursday, February 27, 2020 and Friday, February 28, 2020 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
This will be a mobile operation and traffic will be reduced to one lane around the active work area during inlet cleaning. Please exercise caution and reduce speed while passing the street sweeper.

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
