MAUGANSVILLE, MD (July 3, 2025) – Washington County Government announces that Maugansville Road is currently closed in the area of 13427 Maugansville Road, in front of the Maugansville Mennonite Home, due to a utility pole that has been struck and is now obstructing the roadway.
The appropriate utility company has been notified and is en route to make necessary repairs. The road will remain closed until the repairs are completed and the area is deemed safe for travel.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and use caution in the area.
