HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 25, 2020) – The Washington County Division of Plan Review and Permitting
share a new feature that allows customers to submit questions, plans, and temporary building permit submittals via the email account [email protected]
. This email will be monitored on a daily basis and emails will be forwarded to the appropriate person as necessary within 24 hours. (see below for the process)
Online building permit submittals is only a temporary process during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, there is also a drop box in the vestibule where customers can drop off building and trade permits and/or pick up their permit.
While staffing may be limited at times, the Division of Plan Review & Permitting continues to conduct business as normal as possible while maintaining flexibility and remaining healthy and safe.
