Liberal Leave is in effective for Washington County Government

HAGERSTOWN, MD (January 15, 2024) – Due to the ongoing inclement weather, Washington County Government announces the implementation of liberal leave for all non-essential employees tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024, until 10:00 a.m. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

For those required to travel, exercise caution on the roadways. If driving is necessary, ensure your vehicle is completely cleared, drive at a reduced speed, practice caution, and avoid crowding or passing plows.
