HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 25, 2022) – Washington County Government would like to announce liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential Washington County employees due to inclement weather and Washington County Public Schools operating on a 2-hour delay today Friday, February 25, 2022. County employees who are designated as “Essential” are expected to perform their duties as they normally would. Employees who can telework should report at their usual time.

 

The County encourages those who must travel to exercise caution while on roadways. If driving is essential, clear your vehicle completely, drive slowly, use caution, and don’t crowd or pass plows.
