Fall in Love with Transit: A Free Event to Help You Navigate Public Transportation!

HAGERSTOWN, MD (February 3, 2025) – Washington County Transit invites community members to Fall in Love with Transit on Thursday, February 13, 2024, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Alice Virginia & David W. Fletcher Branch of the Washington County Free Library (Room 334).

This fun and interactive event is designed to help residents confidently use public transportation while enjoying a warm cup of hot chocolate!

What to Expect:

  • Introductory Session – Learn how to read bus schedules and navigate routes using Google Transit.
  • Travel Training – Gain hands-on experience with an informal training session.
  • Live Bus Ride – Take a guided transit trip on the Funkstown bus to the Transit Center, then transfer to the Valley Mall bus to see how easy it is to get around!
