Everybody’s Day at Pen Mar Park!

HAGERSTOWN, MD (August 25, 2022) – Join the Parks and Recreation Department for our End of Summer event at Pen Mar Park. This free event, like the title says, is for EVERYBODY! There will be dancing, a NEW MAGIC SHOW at 2:30 PM, children’s games, moon bounce, Jitterbug and Waltz contests, and music provided by Fay Powers. 

This event is free and is for all ages! Celebrate with us because it’s Everybody’s Day in Washington County. 

When/Where:

  • Sunday, August 27, 2023, 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Pen Mar Park, 14600 Pen Mar Rd, Highfield-Cascade, MD 21719

Everybody’s Day Schedule: 

  • 9:00 AM – High Rock Mountain Running Challenge 
  • 1:15 PM – Flag Raising and Opening Remarks 
  • 1:30 PM – Potamac Indian Dancers (Concession Area)
  • 1:45 PM – Zumba with Miss. Liz (Family Pavilion)
  • 2:00 PM – Ray Birely Orchestra (Dance Pavilion) 
  • 2:15 PM – Children’s Candy and Prize Scramble (Family Pavilion)
  • 2:30 PM – Jitterbug Contest (Dance Pavilion) 
  • 2:30 PM – NEW MAGIC SHOW (Family Pavilion)
  • 2:45 PM – Waltz Contest (Dance Pavilion)
  • 3:20 PM – Zumba With Miss. Liz (Family Pavilion) 
  • 4:00 PM – Activities and event concludes

LIBERAL LEAVE IS IN EFFECT FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY GOVERNMENT

Liberal leave is in effect for all non-essential personal on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, until noon. Essential personnel are expected to fulfill their duties as usual.

The starting time for today’s Board of County Commissioners meeting will be reevaluated at 9:00 am.
