Board of County Commissioners Adopt the 2018 International Building & Trade Codes

HAGERSTOWN, MD (December 12, 2019) – The Washington County Board of County Commissioners officially adopted the 2018 International Building and Trade Codes and Local Amendments on December 3, 2019. Implementation of the 2018 codes and local amendments will go into effect on March 1, 2020.
To better help the public understand the changes being made, the Division of Construction will be hosting a public meeting on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Washington County Free Library. This meeting will cover significant changes and answer any questions the public may have regarding the changes. To register for this meeting, please click the link below.
