HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 14, 2023) – The Washington County Department of Water Quality announces the implementation of a 3.5% credit card processing fee, effective July 1, 2025, for customers who choose to pay their water and/or sewer bills using a credit card. This fee is already stated on the water and sewer bills.
Washington County appreciates the public’s understanding and cooperation as this change takes effect.
