HAGERSTOWN, MD (July 28, 2021) – There is just a short time left to complete the survey that will impact future development at County Parks. Washington County Government is encouraging local residents to take the short survey about park use and the future development of parks, recreation programs, and facilities, as well as other preserved lands throughout the County. Click on the photo above or the links below to take the survey by Friday, August 6th.

The Survey consists of two parts: a short questionnaire, and an interactive map where respondents can provide feedback directly on existing parks or offer suggestions for where new facilities or park amenities could be developed. Links to each of these two parts are provided below and also within both the survey and map.

Results from this survey will assist the Washington County Department of Planning and Zoning as they update the Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan. This Plan presents a five-year vision for the County’s provision of parks and open space by identifying the strengths of the current system as well as opportunities for improvement.
