Washington County Government Closed for Memorial Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 21, 2026) – In observance of Memorial Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. County services will operate as listed below:
HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT
The Hagerstown Regional Airportadministrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026, and re-open on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled:
Monday, May 25, 2026: 3:34 p.m. arrival and 8:50 p.m. departure for flights to Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB)4:19 p.m. departure and 8:05 p.m. arrival for flights to Myrtle Beach, SC (MYR)
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. All services will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026.
TRANSIT
Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026. All services will resume on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. 
BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE
Black Rock Golf Course will operate as normal on Monday, May 25, 2026.
TREASURER’S OFFICE
Washington County Treasurer’s Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026,
STATE’S ATTORNEY
The State’s Attorney’s Office will be closed on Monday, May 25, 2026,
PUBLIC SAFETY
All essential public safety services will remain in effect.
