Washington County Government Closed for Memorial Day

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MD (May 22, 2025) – In observance of Memorial Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. County services will operate as listed below:

HAGERSTOWN REGIONAL AIRPORT

The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025 and re-open on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

Airport terminal will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Allegiant air services will continue as scheduled on May 26, 2025:

3:39 pm arrival and 8:59 pm departure for flights to Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB)
4:29 pm departure and 8:09 pm arrival for flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT

Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

TRANSIT

Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

BLACK ROCK GOLF COURSE

Black Rock Golf Course will operate as normal on Monday, May 26, 2025.

TREASURER’S OFFICE

Washington County Treasurer’s Office will be closed on Monday, May 26, 2025. All services will resume on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

PUBLIC SAFETY

All essential public safety services will remain in effect.
