HAGERSTOWN, MD (May 31, 2022) – As of May 31, 2022, the Board of County Commissioners is accepting applications online for the establishment of the Police Accountability Board as required by Maryland law. The Board will hold a public hearing on the County’s proposed Police Accountability Board Ordinance on June 7, 2022. After adoption of the Ordinance, the Board will constitute the Police Accountability Board’s membership. Applications for membership will be accepted until the positions are filled.
