COMING SOON! New Playground Equipment at County Parks

HAGERSTOWN, MD (March 3, 2022) – Washington County Parks and Recreation Department notifies the public that several County parks will be receiving an upgrade to playground equipment this spring. Upon arrival to several County parks, you may notice the playground equipment is no longer there. This is temporary, as new equipment has been ordered. The County is waiting for the arrival and installation of new equipment. The following County parks will be receiving a playground upgrade this spring:
 
 
While the playground equipment at the parks listed above is being replaced, the County recommends visiting two parks that recently received an upgrade to their playground equipment:
 
 
 
This new playground equipment is being funded through a grant from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources as part of the Local Parks and Playground Infrastructure.
