Business and Economic Development Director to Present at Washington County Chamber of Commerce's Eggs & Issues

HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 1, 2023) – The Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development (DBED) is pleased to extend an invitation to both members and non-members of the Washington County Chamber of Commerce to attend the upcoming Eggs & Issues event on Wednesday, June 14, 2023. The event will take place from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the following location:

Venue: 58 E. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD (Applause Caterers)

The registration process will begin promptly at 7:00 a.m., followed by breakfast service at 7:15 a.m. The breakfast will be catered by Applause Caterers. At 8:00 a.m., Jonathan Horowitz, Director of the Department of Business and Economic Development, will provide an update on the services offered to our community by the Washington County Department of Business and Economic Development.

During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the following topics:

  • DBED partnership agencies and their initiatives aimed at community improvement
  • Industry Snapshot
  • Updates on Washington County projects
  • George Board projects update
  • Foreign Trade Zone Updates
  • Enterprise Zone Update
