Division of Emergency Management & Communications

The Division of Emergency Management & Communications is dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of our community through comprehensive emergency preparedness, response, and communication strategies. As a critical component of public safety, the division coordinates with local, state, and federal agencies to manage a wide range of emergencies, from natural disasters to public health crises.

Our division is responsible for the development and implementation of emergency plans, the facilitation of emergency training and exercises, and the continuous monitoring of potential threats to our community. We also operates a state-of-the-art communications center that serves as the hub for all emergency dispatch services, ensuring that first responders are efficiently and effectively deployed in times of need.

In addition to managing immediate emergency response efforts, the division is committed to enhancing community resilience through public education, outreach, and collaboration with community partners. By fostering a culture of preparedness, we strive to minimize the impact of emergencies and ensure a swift recovery for all affected.

Our mission is clear: to protect lives, property, and the environment by providing the highest level of emergency management and communication services. The division stands ready to serve, 24/7, with professionalism, dedication, and a deep commitment to public safety.
