Notice of Funding Availability CRRF
The Washington County Office of Grant Management, on behalf of the Washington County Board of County Commissioners, is pleased to announce the availability of funding through the Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF).
The CRRF was established through the legalization of adult-use cannabis in Maryland to support communities disproportionately impacted by prior cannabis enforcement policies. Funding is intended to advance community reinvestment, economic mobility, and equity-focused initiatives within eligible areas of Washington County, specifically within ZIP code 21740. Previous community surveys and data collection efforts identified key gaps and needs related to health and wellness, community quality of life, economic opportunity, and youth services.
Eligible applicants may include nonprofit organizations, community-based organizations, educational institutions, local governments, and other entities serving disproportionately impacted communities.
Priority Areas
Applicants should propose projects that address at least one of the following:
- Community and Quality of Life
- Economic Opportunity and Youth
- Health and Wellness
Funding priorities will focus on projects that demonstrate measurable community impact, promote equity-driven outcomes, and align with CRRF goals and state guidance.
