The Charitable Gaming Program is responsible for:
- Providing accountability of the tip jar sales within the County
- Issuing wholesale, operator, and temporary licenses for selling tip jars within the County
- Administering State Statute and Washington County Rules and Regulations
- Assessing fines, penalties, and denials
- Suspending and revoking licenses under certain circumstances
- Maintaining reports from licensees on all tip jar sales and operations
- Collecting monies and administering The Washington County Gaming Fund
- Providing professional advice and support to the Washington County Gaming Commission
- Issuing Coin Operated Amusement licenses
- Issuing Bingo licenses
