HAGERSTOWN, MD (April 10, 2024) – The Washington County, MD Government County Attorney’s Office is pleased to announce the launch of a new online portal for citizens to submit Public Information Act (PIA) requests. This innovative platform is designed to streamline the process of requesting public information while enhancing transparency and efficiency.

The new online portal provides residents with a user-friendly interface to submit PIA requests conveniently from their computer or mobile device. By digitizing the request process, the County Attorney’s Office aims to make it easier for citizens to access public records and information.
