Washington County Government Closed for Veterans Day

HAGERSTOWN, MD (November 6, 2024) – In observance of Veterans Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. County services will operate as listed below:

• The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices, and the maintenance department, will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024, and reopen on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

• • Airport Terminal Operating Hours:
    • Monday, November 11, 2024: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm

• • Allegiant Air services will continue as scheduled on November 11, 2024:
    • 5:46 pm arrival and 1:59 pm departure for flights to Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR)
    • 1:09 p.m. arrival and 6:36 p.m. departure for flights to Orlando/Sanford International Airport (SFB).

• Washington County Environmental Management offices will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. All services at Forty West Landfill, and all other transfer stations, will be closed on Monday, November 11, 2024. All services will resume on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

• Washington County Transit Services will operate on a normal schedule on Monday, November 11, 2024.

• Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
