HAGERSTOWN, MD (June 29, 2023) – In observance of Independence Day, Washington County Government offices will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. County services will operate as listed below:
- The Hagerstown Regional Airport administrative offices and the maintenance department will be closed. There are no Allegiant air services scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
- All services at Forty West Landfill and all other transfer stations will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Services will resume on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
- Washington County Transit Services will be closed on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Transit will return to operations on Wednesday, July 5, 2023.
- Essential public safety services will remain in effect.
